Nepal secures another bronze medal; 34 medai in Nepal’s purse

SAG LogoYubaraj Pandey / February 13: Nepal has added a bronze to the medal list, totalling 34 so far in the 12th South Asian Games underway in India after Roja KC won a bronze medal in triathlon today.

KC completed the triathlon including 750 meters swimming, 20 kilometres cycling and five kilometres running in 1 hour 16 minutes.

Another Nepali competitor Yam Kumari Ghale settled for fifth position in the game, achieving the target in one hour and 20.29 seconds.

In the match, Pallabi Retiwal achieved the target in 1 hour and 11.57 seconds, bagging golden medal, while Puja Chaurasiya completed the competition in 1 hour and 12.36 seconds, settling for silver medal.

So far, Nepal had bagged one gold, 12 silver and 21 bronze medals in different categories of sports in the SAG. RSS
