Nepal wins silver in triathlon mixed relay

SAG LogoYubaraj Pandey (India) / February 14: Nepal today won a silver medal in triathlon mixed relay in the 12th South Asian Games (SAG) underway here.

Nepal’s Himal Tamata, Rudra Katwal and Roja KC finished second, winning the silver medal for the country. The trio completed the triathlon with a timing of 1hr 31 min 35 secs.

India won the gold and the bronze with a timing of 1 hr 24 min 31 secs and 1 hr 32 min 5 secs respectively.

So far, Nepal had bagged one gold, 13 silver and 21 bronze medals in different categories of sports in the SAG. RSS
