Integrated camp in Baitadi benefits many

Map BaitadiBaitadi / February 15: An integrated mobile services camp conducted in remote lower Sworad area in Baitadi district has offered services to more than 2,000 locals at their doorsteps.

The camp started on February 8 provided various services to the folks of Kulau and Sharmali VDCs.

In the integrated mobile services camp, altogether 903 persons were given their citizenship certificate and identity card of differently-abled to 56 while 829 persons got their names registered in the voters’ name list.

Likewise, solar panels were distributed to seven persons who were injured from the leopard attacks, Chief District Officer Liladhar Adhikari said.

Furthermore, information was disseminated on quake-resistant building construction, agronomy and livestock rearing while the locals were provided with improved seeds and medicines, CDO Adhikari added.

Meanwhile, a total of 400 plus women received services in a health camp organised by the District Health Office, Baitadi.

The camp was organised in Kesharpur Health Post based in Melauli where 11 women received family planning services.

The office has given continuity to the operation of mobile camps adding that such kind of health camp would be organised in Purchaudi haat for four days in second week of March and Chwagad area after two months. RSS
