‘Country’s development without enrichment of art and culture impossible’

Jhalanath%20(1)Ilam /  February 19: CPN-UML senior leader and former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal has said the country’s development without enrichment of art and culture is impossible.

At an interaction organized by Nepal Fine Art Forum Nepal in Ilam Chowk Bazaar this morning, leader Khanal said the art and culture are the treasure of the country so that their protection and development should be given due priority.

“All arts and cultures should be country-loving”, Khanal said, adding that culture sans sense of nationalism would not facilitate country’s development.

Khanal has arrived Ilam here to inaugurate the 28th anniversary of the People’s Cultural Federation beginning here from Friday. RSS
