Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation felicitates National Football Team

Kathmandu / February 18: The newly established Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation felicitated the Nepali Football Team for their glorious win at the recent SAG men’s football. The foundation handed over Rs 200,000 and an appreciation letter to the team at its office premises in Old Baneshwar on Thursday.

Actor Sitaram Kattel aka Dhurmus, who is also the chairperson of the foundation, expressed his happiness at being able to felicitate the much deserving sports team of the nation. “They have made us all proud. I’m grateful to have this opportunity to give them back something,” he said, adding that the felicitation program wouldn’t have materialized without the financial support of the Nepali community living in Tampere, Finland.

he foundation’s treasurer Kunjana Ghimire aka Suntali thanked the players for giving Nepalis all over the world a reason to rejoice in these ‘tough times.’ “They have once again proved that sports play a vital role in bringing people together, irrespective of their backgrounds,” she added.
