TV personality Sangita Shrestha’s love story collection to hit bookstores

Kathmandu / February 19, 2016- Television personality and writer Sangita Shrestha debut book ‘Kathama Aljhiyeka Prem’ is all set to hit the shelves soon.

Publication house, Nepalaya is set to publish Shrestha’s compilation of love stories. The stories come from various backdrops ranging from school grounds, college life, work areas, local neighbourhood and Nepal’s conflict days.

Shrestha is known for her series of short films, Katha Premka, which she wrote and directed. “This book is an attempt to extend my effort after getting an overwhelming response to my work on TV” says Sangita.

Usually films are based on popular books, but here Sangita has taken a reverse route. She has based the book on her successful series of short films. “I have always preferred short films to music videos where I can create a conversation between my characters,” says Shrestha, “The phase in production I enjoy the most is when I am writing the script and screenplay. This book is a result of my passion for writing.”
