Nepali cricket squad for World Cricket League announced

Kathmandu /April 7: The Nepali squad to play the third round match against Namibia under the World Cricket League Championship has been announced today. The championship will be held on April 16 and 18.

The 18-member Nepali team comprises Paras Khadka (skipper), Gyanendra Malla (vice captain), Sagar Pun, Naresh Budha Ayer, Sharad Bheswakar, Binod Bhandari, Raju Rijal, Sandip Lamichhane, Susan Bhari, Basnata Regmi, Shakti Gauchan, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Rajesh Pulami, and extras Bikram Sob, Dipendra Singh Airi, Prem Tamang and Anil Mandal.

National Sports Council (NSC) member-secretary Keshav Kumar Bista’s press advisor Rohit Dahal said a team comprising International Cricket Council (ICC) representative Bandula Warnapura, coach Jagat Tamata and Nepali team’s captain Paras Khadka made the final selection of players in coordination with the NSC.

The match between Nepal and Namibia will take place at the TU cricket ground at Kirtipur. RSS
