American students building schools in rural area
Bhimduttanagar / April 12: Students of Liberty High School of the United States are donating their kind labour to build a school in Jhalarpipladi municipality-8, Pillariphanta.
Nine US students under 15 arrived in Pillariphanta with their guardians had toiled their efforts for the construction of a school building from Monday.
They have arrived here to provide support to the school building construction and know Nepal’s art and culture. A team of 15 US nationals came here to construct a three-room cemented building of the school located in the disadvantaged settlement, said Wildon Nepal Coordinator Jharana Bam.
“The plan is to construct a building for the school by mobilizing US volunteers and villagers within coming Friday”, Bam said, adding the foundation for the same is being prepared from today.
The Wildon Nepal has so far constructed 150 school buildings in Kanchanpur and Kailali. They have the target to provide support to additional 30 schools within 2016. RSS
