Women’s League Football: Nepal Police Club wins first match

women-football3-550x300Kathmandu / April 17: Nepal Police Club has registered its first victory in the National Women’s League Football Championship by defeating the Mid-Western Women Football Team.

In the inaugural game held at playground of Satdobato-based All Nepal Football Association today, the Nepal Police Club defeated the Mid-Western Women Football Team 13-0.

Niru Thapa and Srijana Khadka scored hat-trick in the match. The winner team will bag Rs 200,000 while first runner-up team will get Rs 100,000.

Similarly, best goalkeeper, forward, midfielder, defender and coach of the championship will get Rs 25,000 each. RSS
