‘Govt ready for constitution’s amendment to address problem’

bijay kumarBiratnagar / April 21: Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar has said that the government would address the issues put forth by Madhesi Morcha through dialogue and discussion.

DPM Gachhadar, also the Chairperson of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Loktantrik), said this at a press conference organized here on Wednesday in course of the preparation of the first general convention of his party scheduled for coming May 2-4.

The Nepali people have been disappointed by the atrocious movement of the political parties, he said, expressing the government’s readiness to amend the national charter so as to address the differences on the constitutional provisions.

He noted that the constitution has paved the way towards stability after a hiatus of political ups and downs while underlining the need for finding a meeting point for all political actors to take ahead the country to the pathway of development.

On the occasion, he shared that the democratically elected 2,500 delegates representing 65 districts are taking part in the conclave and the issue of changing party’s name is yet to be discussed and finalized. RSS
