Flood-disrupted Mugling road resumes

ChitwanChitwan / May 13: The Narayangarh-Mugling road section of Chitwan district that was disrupted due to landslide occurred with heavy rain has come into operation from this morning.

The road had remained obstructed since 10.00 pm last night when the landslide occurred at Panchkilo, Kalikhola and Jalbire.

The road section came into operation from 2.00 am this morning after removal of landslide with the help of dozer, said Chitwan District Police Office.

Due to ongoing road expansion drive on the section the vehicular movement has not been smooth. A brief shower has also triggered landslide on the fragile road that halted the vehicular operation, police said.

The frequent disruption of road has hit hard the people moving to Kathmandu and Pokhara from Chitwan. RSS
