Govt set to upgrade Prithvi Chandra hospital

government logoNawalparasi, May 16: The Prithvi Chandra District Hospital of Parasi will now be operating with an enhanced capacity.

The government has started works for upgrading the number of beds in the hospital from 25 to 51, Hospital Development Committee Chairman, Laxmi Chhetri, said.

Health Ministry’s Undersecretary, Baburam Khanal, on Sunday led a team for an inspection of the hospital.

Undersecretary Khanal shared that during the inspection the team acknowledged the need for upgrading the hospital. The team also held discussion with the concerned stakeholders in the district for the same.

During the discussion, the team was told that specialist doctors for women and children were needed at the hospital. RSS
