Ophthalmic science to be taught in Rapti hospital

Eye articleDang / May 19: The Ophthalmic Assistance Course is set to be conducted in the Rapti Eye Hospital, Rakshyachaur, Dang from coming educational year.

Preparation is underway to run Ophthalmic Science for limited 40 students from educational year 2073-74 BS, said Hospital’s Senior Administrative Officer Shumsher Thapa.

The Hospital sources said that the idea is to develop the hospital as an Eye Institute under the Rapti Eye Health Programme. The first year classes of basis science will be run from the Technical Institute at Lalmatiya in Dang while the training will be imparted from the hospital.

The hospital has completed all necessary process and preparation and acquired license from Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) for the operation of training centre at Rapti Eye Hospital. RSS
