NRA approves 261 project proposals

Kathmandu / May 21: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has approved the proposals submitted by various organisations for the construction of the earthquake-damaged school buildings, health posts and other facilities.

NRA stated today that these proposals have been approved as per the Guidelines on Mobilizing NGOs, 2072.

Among the approved project proposals, 234 are on the construction of school buildings. The total amount proposed for this is one billion 726 million 736 thousand 610 rupees.

Similarly, of all the proposals, 27 are related to construction of health posts and buildings and the proposed amount for this is Rs 393 million 281 thousand 326.

With the approval by NRA, tripartite agreements would be signed among the organisations concerned, the line ministries and the NRA, the NRA spokesman Ram Prasad Thapaliya said. RSS
