American soldiers to help rebuild quake-damaged school in Dolakha

US flagDolakha / May 30: A team of American soldiers has arrived Sundrawati VDC in Dolakha district to support in reconstruction of the quake-damaged local school.

A total of 39 soldiers led by Lieutenant Colonel of the American Army will be coordinating with the Nepal Army’s Ranabhim Battalion at Charikot in the district to rebuild the Kalika Higher Secondary School in the locality.

Of the 39 soldiers, only 13 have arrived to the district headquarters Charikot in the first round. Remaining soldiers will come in two rounds, according to the Ranabhim Battalion.

The American army team is also likely to showcase their culture to the locals during their fortnight stay, it was shared. They will be housing at the site of the quake-stricken school. RSS
