President receives credentials from ambassadors

President CredentialsKathmandu / June 2: President Bidya Devi Bhandari received letters of Credence from Saaed Hamdan Mohammed Al Naqbi, Hamza YAHIA-CHERIF, Demetrious A. Theophylactou, Milan Hovorka and Ms Samargiul Adamkulova, the Ambassadors of United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Algeria, the Republic of Cyprus, the Czech Republic and the Kyrgyz Republic to Nepal respectively amidst a special ceremony held at the Ceremonial Hall, Office of the President, Shital Niwas on Thursday.

Mr Saaed Hamdan Mohammed Al Naqbi is residential Ambassador whereas Hamza YAHIA-CHERIF, Demetrious A. Theophylactou, Milan Hovorka and Ms Samargiul Adamkulova reside in New Delhi with concurrently accredited to Nepal, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa, Foreign Affairs Expert at the Office of the President Dr Madan Kumar Bhattarai, Chief of the Army Staff General Rajendra Chhetri, Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi, Secretary at the Office of the President Bhupendra Prasad Poudel and other senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present during the occasion.
