Seven metric tonnes of waste collected from Bagmati River

Bagmati Cleaning CampaighKathmandu / June 11: A total of seven metric tonnes of waste has been collected from the Bagmati river near Buddhanagar area under the ongoing Bagmati Clean-Up Campaign. The campaign today entered its 161st episode.

On the occasion, the campaigners, security personnel, local leaders and volunteers including campaign leader former chief secretary Leelamani Poudyal were found busy collecting the garbage.

It is stated that, the next sanitation drive, the 162nd week of Bagmati Clean-up Campaign will take place at Kupandol and Thapathali area.

Nepal Advertisement Association has marked its 26th anniversary attending the campaign and provided different goods including gloves and buckets to the campaign volunteers. RSS
