134 incidents of human rights violation reported in Bhojpur in past six months

INSECBhojpur / June 21: A total of 134 cases of human rights violation occurred in Bhojpur in the past six months (from January, 2016 to June), the Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) said.

The information was shared at a programme organised by the Bhojpur chapter of the INSEC in Bhojpur on Monday to review half-yearly report of human rights violation.

According to the report presented by Bhojpur INSEC representative Kiran Rai, five of the human rights violation cases belong to murder, three to rape and 11 to polygamy. Likewise, 39 are related to domestic violation while 11 are cases of mistreatment. Also, 65 belong to beatings. RSS
