Lama elected president of Renbukai Karate Association
Kathmandu / June 22: The second general assembly of the Nepal Renbukai Karate Do Association has unanimously elected a 13-member central working committee under the chairmanship of Resham Lal Lama (Tamang). Lama was the general secretary in the erstwhile working committee.
A meeting of the working committee today assigned the responsibility of Co-president of the Association to Prem Lal Bomjon, of senior vice-president to Kamal Raj Lama, of vice-president to Shiva Bahadur Basnet, of general secretary to Buddhabir Lama, of secretary to Sil Kumari Nepal and of tresurer to Sushmita Gurung.
Similarly, Yuddha Lama, Ramesh Tamang, Dasrath Chand, Ram Prasad Khanal, Seshuka Rai and Hiradevi Rai are elected the members. Others nominated to the Association are Anita Pariyar and Ganesh BK as vice-president, and Govinda Kumar Mahar, Pema Tamang, Tilak Bhandari, Jit Kumari Ghartimagar and Ashish Alemagar as members.
Karki elected NNMAGC president
Meanwhile, Prabin Kumar Karki was unanimously elected the president of the Nepal National Martial Arts Games Confederation (NNMAGC) by the second general meeting held today.
The general assembly also elected a 17-member new working committee, unopposed. Anjan Dhamala, Kalpa Deep Rai and Deepak Shrestha are the three vice-presidents, Dinesh Sharma is the general secretary, Sanju Maharjan and Bijay Shrestha are the two secretaries and Manoj Khadka the treasurer.
The members of the working committee include Dev Jung Pandit, Prem Bahadur Koirala, Prakash Babu Thapa, Santosh Shrestha, Keshav Krishna Dangol, Arjun Babu Shrestha, Krishna Bahadur Rawat, Sunita Ghimire and Lila Prasad Kafley. RSS
