57 households in remote village of Morang get solar lamps

solar panelMorang / July 5: Fifty seven households of Ramitkhola Village of Morang have been provided solar lights free of cost. The Ramitkhola is known as the remote village of Morang.

CPN (UML) lawmaker Rajya Laxmi Golchha provided Rs 350,000 from her Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme, the District Development Committee Morang released Rs 350,000 and the Ramitkhola VDC invested Rs 70,000 to purchase the solar lamps.

The village is yet to be connected to the central transmission grid, CPN (UML) Morang secretariat member Man Bahadur Shrestha said. RSS
