Nepali migrant worker found dead

Rajbiraj / July 11: A Nepali migrant worker from Bainali VDC – 9 of Saptari has been found dead in Qatar.

The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Baubala Chaudhary, according to his family members.

Chaudhary had gone to sleep on Saturday night and was found dead on Sunday morning. He was a construction worker with the Madina Group in Qatar. He had left for Qatar last month. His family members have appealed to the government to help bring back his mortal remains.

Convict arrested after 11 years

Meanwhile, Chandev Khanga of Kanchanpur Municipality – 2, who was convicted of masked robbery 11 years ago, was arrested on Sunday.

The Area Police Office, Kanchanpur responded to a tip off to arrest Khanga while hiding at his residence, Inspector Gaurav Mahat said.

The District Court Rajbiraj had slapped a prison term of three months and a fine of Rs 2,600 in 2005. He has been sent to Rajbiraj-based prison to serve his term. RSS
