Historic spring to be turned into tourist attraction

Pokhara / July 11: The historic spring situated at Kangmang locality of Dhachok VDC – 1 at the northern rim of the Kaski district will be developed as a religious and tourist destination.

The spring which is famous as Bhume God and Tatopani has being shored up with cement walling and embellished with 21 taps. A pond will be constructed at the centre along with Hindu God Shiva’s shrine.

The development of the religious site was cranked up with grant assistance of Rs 200,000 from the Tourism Ministry and Rs 100,000 from the District Development Committee. The total estimate for the development of the site has been counted at Rs 4 million, Committee Chairman Rabilal Pokharel said. RSS
