Biratnagar marks Bhanu Jayanti

bhanubhaktaBiratnagar / July 13: The 203rd birth anniversary of first Nepali poet, Bhanubhakta Acharya, was marked amidst a fanfare in Biratnagar.

Bhanu Art Centre, Bhanubhakta Cultural Committee and Nepal Academy jointly took out a procession this morning from Sansarmaisthan with the poet’s portrait displayed from atop a vehicle along with musical troupe.

On the occasion, litterateur Daghiraj Subedi paid tribute to Bhanu Bhakta and shed light on his contribution in language and literature. RSS
