Hot water pondBhojpur / July 14: Some eight watershed sites of Bhojpur district are reeling under risks.

According to the District Soil Conservation Office, eight out of 42 watershed areas located in different parts of the district are at vulnerable condition.

According to the office, among the risk-prone sites are Himkhuwa rivulet, Taxar rivulet, Chirkhuwa rivulet, Jatayotar rivulet, Yaguwa rivulet, Akhuwa rivulet, Khong rivulet and Khesang rivulet.

In the rainy season up to 15-CM of the earth is being slid away in the watershed sites, said District Soil Conservation Officer Sanjaya Kumar Mishra.
