Nepali goods to be promoted in New York
Kathmandu / July 21: An exhibition of Nepali goods is going to be held in New York from September 30 to October 2 with an objective to expand trade and business between Nepal and the USA.
The World Business Management and Consultant Nepal, organizing a press conference here on Thursday, shared that 66 different types of goods on which the US government has exempted tax, including handicraft items, garments and leather products among others will be showcased in the exhibition.
Director of the Company Krishna Lamichhane expressed his confidence that the exhibition would help Nepali goods find market in the international market through the US.
Entrepreneurs who have been doing their business through banking, those who have been paying tax and have experience taking part in such exhibitions will be participating in the event, according to Director Lamichhane.
There will be a total of 372 stalls of the Nepali entrepreneurs. Sumitra Palanchowke (Shrestha) of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Association Nepal (FWEAN) believed that the exhibition will help understand the demand of the Nepali produce in the international market. RSS
