PSC to start checking answer scripts using OMR machine at regional level

Kathmandu / July 21: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has started making preparations for checking the answers of the objective-type questions in the answer scripts of the examinees by using the optical mark reconnection technology from its regional directorates at all the five development regions of the country.

PSC member Dr Govinda Prasad Kusum said the OMR machine would be used in checking the objective question answers at all the five regional offices from this fiscal year.

The Commission has been using the OMR system in checking the objective question answers at its Central Office since three years. The OMR machine can check 800 answer scripts in an hour, it is stated. RSS
