Ex Chief Secretary stresses for awareness of citizen for Country’s development

Dang / Aug 23: Ex-Chief Secretary of Nepal Government and Bagmati River Cleanup Campaigner Leelamani Poudyal said the development of the country sans aware and responsible citizens would be impossible.

He said this at an interaction programme organized by the Tulsipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Tulsipur on Monday.

Noting that no sector has witnessed substantial progress as anticipated owing to the government-oriented thinking of Nepali people, he said country’s development is utterly impossible till people are not awake and arise.

Former Chief Secretary Poudyal arrived Dang on Monday to inaugurate a campaign ‘Green Tulsipur-Clean Tulsipur’ kicking off in Tulsipur from Tuesday (August 23).

The Tulsipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry took the initiative in collaboration with the Tulsipur municipality.

Poudyal said the malpractices propping up in every sectors is the result of our polluted thinking.

Also speaking on the occasion, Campaigner of Positive Thinking Dr Raju Adhikari said the waste makes our mind dirt which ultimately paralyse our thoughts and actions.

He also urged Tulsipur locals to step up their campaign for hygiene and sanitation. RSS
