Don’t register public land under party name: TI Nepal

TransparancyKathmandu / Aug 26: The Transparency International (TI) Nepal has shown serious concern over the efforts to register public land under the name of CPN (Maoist-Centre) in Parsa district. It has argued that this effort must not be materialized.

The media had brought the news that a local recommendation committee recommended for the registration of the public land under the name of CPN (Maoist-Centre).

“If the land is given to the political party having massive presence across the country, it will set a precedent. So, the government and other stakeholders must be serious on it,” the TI Nepal said, adding that it would spread a bad message.

TI Nepal Chairman Bharat Bahadur Thapa issued the press release. RSS
