Call to construct Bhimphedi-Kulekhani tunnel highway

Tunnel wayKathmandu / Sept 6: The Makwanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry has urged the government for the construction of Bhimphedi-Kulekhani tunnel highway.

A delegation headed by Chamber President Raj Kumar Neupane on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at his office in Singha Durbar and demanded the government to take initiative for the construction of the tunnel so as to ease movement from Hetauda to Kathmandu.

With the construction of the three kilometre tunnel road, the movement from Hetauda to Kathmandu would be safe and easy.

In response, PM Dahal expressed the government readiness to lend support to the construction of the tunnel with domestic investment. The Prime Minister assured us to heed their demands and resolve the problems they faced on the way, Chairperson Neupane told the RSS.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara was also present on the occasion. RSS
