PrachandaKathmandu / Sept 9: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday said the main agenda of his imminent visit to India would be focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Nepal and India.

Referring to a memorandum submitted by Chairman of the Sadbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato to him on Friday, PM Dahal said he would take any suggestions that are for the welfare of people and nation seriously and take initiations to implement them.

The memorandum demands that relations between the two neighbours that got strained lately be corrected and Madhesi youths who are economically, socially and educationally backward be provided with opportunities to develop their standard by introducing and implementing various skill-development programmes.

The memorandum also drew the attention of the PM to speed up and implement the projects of national pride like the Postal Highway, Kathmandu-Tarai Madhes Fast Track, Nijgadh International Airport and East-West Railway.

Talking to media persons after submitting the memorandum, Mahato viewed that PM’s scheduled India visit should not be limited to merely political meetings with India, but it should be for the welfare of Nepal as a whole and create environment conducive to foreign investment. RSS
