Minister Thapa meets agitating Dr KC

Kathmandu / Sept 30: Minister for Health Gagan Kumar Thapa reached the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, on Friday, and met with the agitating Dr Govind KC and informed him that government was serious about his demands.
During the meeting, Minister Thapa said the government was taking initiatives to implement the agreements made with Dr KC, said Minister’s advisor, Pratap Poudel.
Senior orthopedist Dr KC has been staging the ninth hunger strike reasoning the government failed to heed his demands relating to the reform in the health sectors. RSS
