photographerKathmandu : Oct. 2: Senior photographer Mani Lama’s photographs have gone on display at the Nepal Tourism Board’s premises as part of the ongoing ‘#photoNepal’ series that’s been organized by Photo Journalists’ Club (PJ Club) Nepal.

Lama has been a professional photographer for more than three decades. His current exhibit showcases most of his landscape photographs and ethnographic portraits that date back as far as 1979.

“I’ve always tried to reflect the culture and beauty of Nepal through my photography,” Lama said in an interactive session moderated by journalist Ujjwal Acharya.

Prior to Mani Lama’s exhibit, PJ Club has already curated the works of senior photojournalist Min Ratna Bajracharya and a monsoon themed exhibition that featured the photos from PJ Club’s members under the #photoNepal series.

“#photoNepal is a joint effort of PJ Club and Nepal Tourism Board to promote the ‘Tourism Year 2073’ through photographs,” Keshav Thoker, secretary of PJ Club, told Republica.
