Request to forge consensus in constitution implementation

Speaker GhartiKathmandu / Oct 6: Speaker Onsari Gharti has urged the major political parties of the country to move ahead with unity to implement the new constitution.

Talking to media persons at her office on Thursday, Speaker Gharti said the major political parties have resolved serious political crisis and differences based on a consensus and hence a similar effort was necessary for implementation of the constitution.

There are still some significant works to be done as far as fully implementing the new constitution is concerned, she said while emphasizing on the need to narrow down the differences to realise the task of implementation of the new statute.

The Speaker also urged the leaders to give the Nepali people a positive message on the occasion of the near-coming festivals by coming together to address the challenges facing the implementation of the new constitution. RSS
