MoFALD directed to provide demographic details to LBRC

Kathmandu / Oct 16: A meeting of the government officials coordinated by Chief Secretary Dr Somlal Subedi on Sunday directed the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) to provide the data relating to the population in municipality (ward levels) and VDCs to the Local Body Restructuring Commission within three days.

The government made such direction to the MoFALD in a bid to make the activities of the Commission more effective.

The meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers also informed that the Commission would be provided additional demographic details through the concerned government agencies as per the need.

The meeting was attended by Commission Chairman Balanand Poudel, Secretary at OPMCM, Administrator at the Central Region, and officiating secretaries of different ministries. RSS
