Eyeglasses banned in photos for US visa

diversity-visaKathmandu / Oct 17: The US State Department is banning visa and passports applicants from wearing any kind of eyeglasses in their photos for the documents.

The press statement issued by the American Embassy in Kathmandu on Monday urged the applicants to avoid eyeglasses in the photos for their documents in order to avoid delay in the processing of applications, as the new step comes into effect from November 1, 2016.

The applicants wearing eyeglasses in their photos for medical reasons too will be considered, but on account of medical grounds. Such applicants are asked to submit a signed statement from their medical attendants for the processing, states the press release. RSS
