Kukur Tihar being observed today

Kathmandu / Oct 29: Kukur Tihar, the second day of the five-day Tihar festival, is being observed across the country on Saturday.
On the occasion, devotes worship dogs and offer garlands, tika and delicious food and acknowledge the cherished relationship between humans and dogs.
According to the Hindu mythology, dogs are considered as the messenger of Yamraj, the God of Death.
