Constitution amendment bill registered

nepal-constitutionKathmandu / Nov 29: The Government has registered the Bill relating to amendment to the constitution at the Legislature-Parliament Secretariat this evening.

Joint-spokesperson of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Hom Bahadur KC, on behalf of the Government, registered the bill at the Secretariat. The proposal to this end had been approved by a meeting of the Council of Ministers held a while ago. The bill included a letter signed by Law Minister Ajay Shanker Nayak

The bill was registered as per Article 296 of the Constitution of Nepal. Section Officer at the Secretariat Tribikram Parajuli registered the Bill and noted that it would take five days for the Bill to mature. RSS
