Muslim organization distributes warm clothes

Warm ClothesInaruwa / Nov 30: A Muslim non-government organization on Tuesday distributed warm clothes to 285 individuals in three VDCs of Sunsari to fend off the cold as the mercury continues to dip further in the country.

The Hidayat Educational & Welfare Trust Nepal based in Inaruwa – 7, Sunsari provided the warm clothes to the differently abled, hapless, incapacitated and elderly villagers and those from poor economic background, Trust’s Office Secretary, Hazrat Hussein said.

The Trust organized a programme at Babiya VDC with support from Umma Welfare Trust and distributed blankets, sweaters and bed sheets to villagers from Babiya, Narsingh and Sattairjhora VDCs.

The Trust plans to distribute warm clothes to additional 1025 households in nine other VDCs. In the aftermath of the massive earthquake last year, the organization had provided relief supplies in quake-stricken districts including Gorkha. RSS
