Ex-President Yadav for scientific demarcation of provincial boundaries

Dhanusa / Dec 9: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav said the obstruction of Parliament business could not resolve the current political problems.

He suggested the political parties seeking solution with the realization of the norms of constitution amendment proposal.

Dr Yadav was launching a book entitled ‘Prativashali Patrakar’ published by Simanchal Newspaper Promotion Centre in Dhanusa, on Friday.

Referring to his past advice on demarcation of provincial boundaries based on experts’ suggestions, he urged the parties to draw boundaries scientifically.

On a different note, the former President stressed the need for journalists to stick to their ethics while disseminating news. “Journalism prospers only when democracy is strengthened,” he added.

On the occasion, senior journalists Rajeshwor Nepali, BM Khanal and Manoj Sah were honoured. The launched book centres on the struggling life of 56 journalists from the district. RSS
