Jhamak’s Premila Aakash launched in home district

Dhankuta / Dec 25: ‘Premila Aakash’, an anthology of poems by litterateur Dr Jhamak Kumari Ghimire was made public in the writer’s hometown here on Saturday.

The anthology – constituting 49 poems – was launched amidst a programme organized by Jhamak Ghimire Literature Art Academy in Dhankuta.

The organizers have said that the programme was also held to felicitate Ghimire on receiving the title of Honorary Doctorate from Mid-Western University this year.

Ghimire suffers from cerebral palsy and has published 13 literary works including the anthology so far. At the same time, the Academy is preparing to produce a film based on Jhamak’s life. RSS
