Health camp benefits more than 500 heart patients

heartParbat / Dec 26: As many as 515 heart patients received check-up services at a one-day free health camp organized at Kushma Bazaar in Parbat district on Sunday.

A team of specialist doctors examined the cardiovascular health of the students and parents alike at the camp set up at Adarsha Secondary School, according to cardiologist, Dr Prof Shyamraj Regmi.

Free sugar tests for the diabetic patients was also conducted at the camp.

Dr Regmi shared, “Majority of the people coming to the camp were diagnosed with diabetics and high blood pressure.”

On the occasion, medicines worth Rs 200,000 were distributed by Kathmandu-based Vigo Pharmaceutical Company. RSS
