Free health care services to quake-affected people

Nepal Reconstruction AuthorityKathmandu / Jan 15: The Ministry of Health in coordination with the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) is to conduct free health care programmes to the earthquake survivors in the affected areas.

A meeting between Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NRA Prof Dr Govindaraj Pokharel and Health Secretary Senendraraj Upreti held today decided to run free health care programmes in the quake-hit districts.

As per the decision, coordination would be made with the Institute of Medicine (IoM), Kathmandu University, National Academy of Medical Sciences and Patan Academy of Health Sciences to deploy the specialists in the health camps, CEO Prof Dr Pokharel said. RSS
