Nisha-starrer comedy goes on the floors

Kathmandu / Jun 13: The shooting of the upcoming Nepali movie Pokhara ki Kali is currently ongoing in Chitwan. The movie, a comedy, which stars Nisha Adhikari and Gajit Bista in lead roles, features the story of Kali played by Adhikari who falls in love with Bista.

The movie which is being shot in Chitwan for last three weeks is directed by Bimal Poudel. Speaking about the movie, Poudel said, “The film revolves around the character of Kali. This is among the few romantic-comedy movies in Nepal which revolves around the life of a female character. As we have tried to bring in a new concept and story, we are hopeful that the movie will be loved by the audience.” He added, “As Chitwan has a beautiful atmosphere and is rich in natural beauty, we decided to shoot most part of the movie here.”

The movie produced by Amit Bishwas also features Saroj Khanal, Biren DC, Subash Gajurel, Ganesh Giri and more in supporting roles. Source: The Kathmandu Post
