PM Deuba and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Dahal meet

Sher Bahadur DeuwaKathmandu / Sept. 17 : Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, a held discussion on the latest political situation of the country and preparation for the third round of the local-level election.

During the meeting held at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar today, they discussed on various issues related to country’s latest political development, preparation for third round of local-level election and security for the same, according to the PM’s Secretariat.

‘Former Prime Minister Dahal urged the Prime Minister Deuba to make government’s activities effective’, said Chairman Dahal’s Press Coordinator, Manohari Timilsina.

Similarly, discussion was also held regarding the US visit of Prime Minister Deuba to attend the United Nations General Assembly and on matters to be raised by Nepal in the UNGA. PM Deuba is leaving for New York in this connection on September 19.

The duo also discussed on the issue of preparation for the election of House of Representatives and State Assemblies. myrepublica
