Pokhara Lekhnath metropolis to have well-equipped park

RatnaparkPokhara / Dec 17: Construction of a well-equipped park has begun at Ramghat in Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolitan City.

The project that costs around Rs 4 million will be built on seven ropanis of land on the initiative of Antar Samaj Federation Nepal. The land was provided by the Western Regional Hospital.

The park will have free Wi-Fi, water, and toilet facilities, along with 45 benches that will be constructed for visitors, said the Federation’s Chairman, Dipendra Rai.

Mayor of the metropolis Man Bahadur GC laid the foundation stone for the project amid a programme in Pokhara on Saturday.

The Mayor also said that the metropolis would provide help for the construction.
