Free heart check-up camp held in Myagdi

HeartMyagdi / Dec 24: Four hundred and three people were provided free heart check-up services at a heart check-up camp set up at Bhurung Tatopani of Annapurna rural municipality in Myagdi district on Saturday.

The day-long free heart check up was organized by the Nepal Red Cross Society, Bhurung Tatopani branch with the technical support from the Sahid Gangalal National Heart Centre.

People from Annapurna and Raghu Ganga rural municipalities and Beni Municipality benefited from the heart camp, Aatma Tulachan, the health camp coordinator, said. Eleven people were diagnosed with complicated heart problem at the health camp.

Medicines were also provided to the needy patients free of cost at the health camp.

Arrangements would be made for their treatment including heart operation with the monetary support from the Jayanti Memorial Fund, according to Tulachan.
