Mr Jholay to be screened in Hong kong

Kathmandu / Jan 12 : -Director Ram Babu Gurung’s fifth feature film Mister Jholay is slated to be screened in Hong Kong on January 14 after it hits screens in Nepal today.

The charity show in Hongkong is organised to support Dilu Maya Gurung, a patient of kidney failure. The charity show will see the presence of the film’s director and lead actors Dayahang Rai and Deeya Pun.

Mister Jholay marks director Gurung’s fifth feature directorial after 2016’s drama Purano Dunga. Prior to this, Gurung has films such as Kabaddi, Kabaddi Kabaddi, and Anagarik to his credit.

Mister Jholay is written by director Gurung himself and alongside Rai and Pun, features actors Buddhi Tamang, Bijaya Baral, Prabin Khatiwada, and Aruna Karki, among others.

Jointly produced under the banner of Cinema Arts and Teken Khadka Productions, Mister Jholay is photographed by Shailendra D Karki and features background scores by Kaliprasad Banskota and Sujen Karki. Source: The Kathmandu Post
