Thousands of people chant Buddha preaching at Tundikhel

BuddhaKathmandu / Mar 3: Thousands of people have jointly chanted Gautam Buddha preaching to set a Guinness world record, at Tundikhel today.

To break India’s record, World Record Holder Council Nepal, organized this program on Saturday.

Earlier, India’s Art of Living Foundation, India had set the world record by reciting a poem by 46, 660 people simultaneously.

The organizer unofficially claimed that more than 75,000 people attended today’s program. However, it is yet to announced officially.

Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, Maoist Center Chair Puspa Kamal Dahal, Defence Minister, Ishwor Pokharel, UNL Senior Leader Subas Nembang, Former Minister for Tourism Development Anand Pokharel, Cine Artists Rajesh Hamal, Nikhil Upreti, Sanchita Liutel, comedians Manoj Gajurel, Jitu Nepal, Raja Rajendra among others were presented in the program.
