Kathmandu, June 1: The Federal Socialist Forum Nepal will be joining the KP Sharma Oli led government today. According to a source, Upendra Yadav and Mohamed Istiyak Rai will be administered the oath of office and secrecy at 3 PM today. The duo will become minister of Health and Urban Development respectively.

Earlier, the FSFN has placed the constitution amendment — an issue it has been raising since the promulgation of the constitution — as a major proposal in joining the government. On May 28, FSFN and Nepal Communist party reached a two point agreement at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

The agreement ensures to address issues related to constitution amendment on the basis of mutual understanding.
