Tele-teaching classes at 10 schools in Myagdi soon

tele_TeachingKathmandu, July 4/Ten secondary schools based in Annapurna Rural Municipality in Myagdi, the district in province 4, are likely to begin tele-teaching classes from the very first month of upcoming fiscal year. Preparations are going on in full-swing towards this end.

Ten secondary schools at the local level have been connected with the high-speed internet services with the technical support from Mahabir Pun, chair of National Innovation Center. The rural municipality has financially assisted schools to get connected with the internet facility and receive smart TVs. It was happened in coordination with local-level teachers’ federation executive committee.

Rural municipality chair Dam Bahadur Pun earlier handed a smart television to each school for running the classes.

The schools are going to start tele-teaching classes on science, math and English subjects bearing in mind a shortage of sufficient human resources for teaching these subjects and its impact on regular learning process of students. Chair Pun believes that the decision to run tele-teaching school classes would turn beneficial for both students and teachers.

The rural municipality has already allocated the budget of Rs one million towards this end and on the initiation of chair Pun, Rs 550,000 funds was raised. RSS
